Mohenjo Daro Lower Town: HR Area
HR Area is located southeast of the citadel mound. Large areas of the mound have not yet been excavated and are covered with eroding brick structures and pottery.

Mound AB, Harappa
The high mound at Harappa (Mound AB) is surrounded by a massive mud brick city wall with large square ramparts. One of these eroding ramparts is visible through the underbrush that now covers the site.

Public well, Harappa
A large public well and public bathing platforms were found in the southern part of Mound AB at Harappa. These public bathing areas may also have been used for washing clothes as is common in many traditional cities in Pakistan and India today.

"Granary," Harappa
The so-called "granary" of Harappa is found on Mound F. It is a brick structure that was built on a massive brick foundation over 45 meters north south and 45 meters east-west.

Working Platforms, Harappa
To the south of the "granary" or "great hall" at Harappa is an area with numerous circular working platforms that were built inside small rooms or courtyards. These circular working platforms may have been used for husking grain.
Conservation of brick walls in DK - G Area, Lower Town
One relatively successful low cost techniques used to combat the destructive nature of salts in the fired bricks is to cover the walls with a thick layer of mud and straw plaster and to spray them with clay slurry.
