Touching Mounds at Harappa

Touching Mounds at Harappa, one of the oldest inhabited places on earth, and one of those real world images that makes you think about the relationship between past and present. One the left are the ancient mounds, Mound E the "granary" top left, the large Mound AB with the dot in the center going back to 3500 BCE, the long greener Mound E stretching towards the bottom, and dry Mound ET beside it. Above is the encroaching modern Mound MT. Perhaps there once was a giant pool of water between them.
