Mystery at Mound F, Harappa

Northwestern portion of the "granary" platform

Section through the northwestern portion of the "granary" platform directly below the baked brick "granary" walls (Trench 1NW). Similarity of composition of the mud-bricks in the northwestern, southwestern, and southeastern parts of the "granary" platform as well as nearly identical elevations of the top of the platform and of the foundation trenches in the different excavated areas indicate that the entire structure was built at one time.
