Flint Cores
The cores are of a type typical for Harappan culture, both conical and elongated. The blades have been struck off with the pressure technique. This involves pressing the surface of a flint or flake with a soft-pointed instrument.

Period IIIA Cultural Stratigraphy
Period 3A deposits, representing an early urban phase, exist beneath Mounds E and also show expansion onto the area beneath Mound AB. Growth in the city of Harappa is shown to be both lateral and vertical.
Mundigak Stone Seals
The center stone button seal is from Period IV (2900-2400 BCE), while the right most stone button seal is similar to ones from Period II (3500-3400 BCE) and Period III (3400-2900 BCE).

At Mohenjo-daro narrow streets and alleyways branch off of the major streets, leading into more private neighborhoods. Many of the brick houses were two stories high, with thick walls and high ceilings to keep the rooms cool in the hot summer months.
