Brick making was important for Indus cities and the production of bricks may have taken place in areas outside the city as well as near to habitation areas. These bricks with animal and human footprints tell the story of what was going on in the area of the brick making areas. The brick on the left has the footprint of a human child. The center brick has a big goat going in one direction and two small prints of a baby goat going in the other direction.
