Randall William Law II has been studying the natural resources and networks spawned by the need for resources in Indus cities like Harappa and Mohenjo-daro. He has used the latest materials research tools to show that the ring stones in Harappa came from Dholavira, for example. He holds a Ph.D from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he was a student of Jonathan Mark Kenoyer.
