Some animal figurines with long ears, especially those with the ears laid back against round hollow bodies, have been identified as hares. One animal figurine with long ears laid back above a small solid body may also represent a hare.
Molded tablets from Trench 11 sometimes have impressions on one, two, three or four sides. This group of molded tablets shows the complete set of motifs.

The cup shaped headdress of some figurines may have been used for holding oil and used as lamps.
These replicas and the plate were made by Mohammad Nawaz, a local potter from modern Harappa.
