The Harappa Archaeological Research Project (HARP) is a joint venture of a team led by Richard H. Meadow (Harvard University: Project Director), Jonathan Mark Kenoyer (University of Wisconsin, Madison: Co-Project and Field Director), and Rita P. Wright (New York University: Assistant Project Director) in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology and Museums, Government of Pakistan. Before 1992, the project was known as the University of California, Berkeley, Archaeological Research Project at Harappa and was led by the late George F. Dales (1927-1992).
