Excavations along the northeast perimeter of Mound F (Trench 41NE) identified traces of a massive mud-brick wall that protected the interior settlement (to the left) from floods and unwanted visitors.

A collection of seals and tablets from a single house along the main street leading to the southern gateway of Mound E at Harappa.
Gold bead
Composite gold bead with copper-alloy core or wire on interior. The corroded copper still covers part of the tubular gold bead. (H2000-4488/9829-01, Mound AB, Trench 43).
Four male figurines with horned headdresses from Harappa
Male figurines are sometimes also identified by secondary sex characteristics such as beards. Occasionally, male figurines wear a headdress with two upward and/or outward projections like horns.
Unexcavated Mounds at Harappa
The mounds at Harappa remain largely unexcavated. Approximately half a percentage of the site's area was unearthed each season by the Harappa Archaeological Research Project (HARP) in the 1990s.

A few figurines are not clearly male or female, or even anthropomorphic or animal. One unusual recently discovered figurine has no clear sex characteristics.
Kot Diji phase steatite disc beads
This set of steatite disc beads, each about 1 cm in diameter, were found in the Kot Diji phase street and appear to be a necklace segment that was lost in the trash. The manufacturing marks are clearly visible.
Gold Disc
Fired steatite beads appear to have been extremely important to the Indus people because they were incorporated into exquisite ornaments, such as this "eye bead" made of gold with steatite inlay found in 1995 at Harappa [Harappa Phase].
