Hand-built Pot
Dating to c. 3100 BCE, this hand-built pot with polychrome decoration is one of the earliest examples of intersecting circle motif in the Indus valley region.
Female Figurines
It is appropriate that Daya Ram Sahni quickly found female figurines on Mound F at Harappa as he made the first incisions. Female figurines greatly outnumber those of men at ancient Indus sites.
Northwestern portion of the "granary" platform
Section through the northwestern portion of the "granary" platform directly below the baked brick "granary" walls (Trench 1NW). Similarity of composition of the mud-bricks in the northwestern, southwestern, and southeastern parts of the "granary"
Pit with kiln debris
In what appears to have been an alley way between two blocks of buildings in Trench 54 was found a large pit filled with debris from pottery kilns. In the background is a room with a circular pit dug into it.
Female figurine with locks of hair from Harappa
Other figurines have loose hair arranged in "ringlets" or separate locks made of terracotta, possibly representing a wig.

Ravi phase microbeads
Ravi phase microbeads of lapis lazuli (top row), amazonite, and carnelian (bottom row) indicate the size and nature of the drills used for perforation. The largest of the illustrated beads is less than one centimeter in diameter.
Period IV-V Paleotopography
Periods 4 and 5, representing a modification of cultural styles, exist at the tops of Mounds AB and E.
Tall Flaring Cylindrical Vessel
This form of tall flaring cylindrical vessel was probably used as a drinking vessel. Seven of these tall jars (referred to as oval jars) were found in a row and many had smaller cylindrical jars inside them.
Great Granary in Mound F, Harappa
The so-called "Great Granary" in Mound F. Its earliest levels date to 2450 B.C. A similar structure, also about 50 meters long and built on a massive brick or mud-brick platform, was found at Mohenjo-daro.
