"Sikhs Vote Support for Gandhi Cause at Annual Conference" is the title of this first Universal Newsreel dated April 7, 1930 shot in Lahore, capital of Punjab province in British India. The second part is from Punjab in September 1947, when the Sikh community was forced to flee the Muslim held half of the state that became part of Pakistan.
