The man garlanding Sir Craik is Sir Sikander Hyat Khan, then Chief Minister of Punjab. Later during the war he would become the first Indian to officiate as a Governor of a province.
The party is being held at Shalimar Gardens, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in the 1660's .
The man in the final image is Sir Chotou Ram, then Punjab Education Minister and a leading figure in the agrarian Jat community.
