Middle resembles no. 21, in Vats 1940 (Vol. II) Pl LXXXIII.

Vats described this and another (no. 20) as quatrefoil cones. See Photo 54 for description of 20.
“… No. 21 (PII-20) of red sandstone. This latter is the best finished and best preserved example at Harappa. It measures 3.2 in. high by 3 in. across the base, 0.9 in. across the central hole and 0.6 in. across the side hole. Mound AB, Extension of Pits I and II; Depth 5 ft. b.s.; Stratum II” (Vats 1940, p. 371).

Right: Fluted stone.

Resembles no. 47, Pl LXXXIII Vats 1940 (Vol. II).

Described as “a rectangular piece fluted in opposite directions on its two faces. Its ribbing, as compared with that of Nos. 51 and 52, is rather flat and shallow. Looks like a false screen” (Vats 1940, p. 465).
