A recent VOX Unexplainable podcast featuring Prof. Rajesh Rao (University of Washington, Seattle) offers a broad overview of ancient Indus script research and where we are today. Dr. Rao has been leading computer analysis of Indus signs and efforts to conclusively show that it was a script (contrary to speculations that it might not be some years ago). Here he explains that analysis and shares other thoughts about where we are and where we need to go to decipher Indus writing and what it says about the civilization it flourished in.
